Victor Manuel Romero-Niembro is a biologist and sustainability consultant from Mexico specializing in composting, organic waste management, regenerative agriculture, soil health, greenhouse gas accounting, and climate action in the agricultural sector.
He has led and advised industrial composting and organic waste projects in Mexico and Latin America, working with agricultural producers, greenhouse operations, livestock companies, and other organizations.
He currently serves as Coordinator of the Consejo Latinoamericano de Compostaje, where he works to strengthen collaboration, technical knowledge, and professional networks across Latin America.
He also chairs the Emerging Composter Challenge within the US Composting Council Young Professionals program, supporting innovation and emerging professionals in the organics recycling sector.
His work focuses on translating environmental science into practical projects that improve soil management, reduce emissions, recover organic resources, and support more resilient agricultural systems.
