I am currently teaching at the College of Natural Resources, Royal University of Bhutan, in this beautiful country nestled at the eastern end of the Himalayas.
For the past 15 years, I have been teaching subjects such as Climate Change, Applied Statistics, Environmental Systems Analysis, Personal Development, Integrated Watershed Management, Water Resources Management, Environmental Science, Forest Fire and Ecology, and Natural Resources Management.
Above all, I love working with young people, and I think this is mainly because I have been teaching young people for some years now, helping them connect with the wisdom of earlier generations while remaining close to their own. In our digitally connected yet often humanly disconnected world, I believe this bridge is more important than ever, and even more urgent than ever before.
As conscious beings, it feels like our gentle duty to pass on knowledge and care for the future, so that we, mere temporary visitors to this planet, may live in greater harmony with it and with one another, so that we can call worth living.
