I want to become an ambassador because I am deeply committed to raising awareness, inspiring action, and supporting practical solutions to address climate change and its impacts. With my background in GIS, remote sensing, disaster risk reduction, environmental management, and community-based training, I believe I can contribute meaningfully to climate change awareness, adaptation, and resilience-building efforts.
As an ambassador, I want to use my knowledge and experience to engage communities, youth, institutions, and local stakeholders in understanding climate risks and taking practical actions. In Afghanistan, climate change is already affecting water resources, agriculture, livelihoods, natural ecosystems, and disaster vulnerability. I want to be part of a platform that promotes awareness, evidence-based planning, and community participation to reduce these risks.
Becoming an ambassador would also give me the opportunity to strengthen my leadership, communication, and advocacy skills while contributing to a larger mission. I am motivated to represent positive change, share knowledge, support vulnerable communities, and encourage collective responsibility for protecting the environment and building a more climate-resilient future.
