I want to become a Climate Restoration Ambassador because I believe climate action must move beyond reducing future emissions toward actively restoring the natural systems that make a stable climate possible.
Through Eco Farm Organics, I see this challenge at ground level every day. Organic waste that could regenerate soils is often discarded, while soils continue to lose fertility and communities face increasing climate and economic pressure.
By turning organic waste into compost, vermicompost, biochar, and other soil-restoration products, we are demonstrating how local businesses can contribute to healthier soils, carbon storage, circular resource use, and resilient food systems.
As an Ambassador, I would like to help bring the Climate Restoration message into African farming communities, agroecology networks, businesses, young entrepreneurs, and local institutions. I want to help people understand that climate restoration is not only a scientific or global-policy discussion; it can also be translated into practical actions involving soils, waste, food systems, ecosystems, and livelihoods.
I am especially motivated by CRA’s focus on future generations and its belief that restoring a safe climate within a generation requires individuals and organisations to build broad public support and collective action.
I would use the Ambassador role to share practical examples from Kenya, build partnerships, engage communities and organisations, and contribute an African agroecology perspective to the global Climate Restoration movement.
I want to help make climate restoration tangible in Africa by connecting the global goal of restoring our atmosphere with practical work on soil, carbon, waste, food systems and community livelihoods.
