Mayaya Kashinje Singu Mack is a Tanzanian social entrepreneur, researcher, consultant, and community development practitioner with over 10 years of experience advancing sustainable development through social entrepreneurship, project planning and management, organisational and community development, forest and landscape restoration, sustainable beekeeping, and regenerative agriculture.
Mayaya is committed to advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030 and African Union Agenda 2063, drawing on extensive grassroots and lived experience in the NGO and social enterprise sectors. His work spans social enterprise research and consultancy, forest and beekeeping extension, community-based project development, NGO leadership and management training, permaculture education, food-forest design, and climate-resilient livelihoods.
He is the Founder and Executive Director of Sustainable Beekeeping and Human Development (SuBeHuDe); Co-founder and Program Coordinator of The New Wash Burn Foundation (NWBF); National Focal Person for GNDR Tanzania; mentor at Shinyanga Ecovillage Transition Youth Initiative (SET-Youth–I); and President & Managing Director of Sustainable Beekeeping for Development Company Ltd (SBDC Ltd), a social enterprise advancing sustainable beekeeping, bee-product innovation, and value-chain development.
Mayaya believes in the power of networks, partnerships, and social movements to accelerate positive change. His work seeks to connect people, organisations, and communities to move from isolated efforts to effective networks that advance the three dimensions of sustainability—Social, Economic, and Environmental Development (SEED)—while restoring landscapes, strengthening livelihoods, and creating healthier and more prosperous communities.
