Hilaire Agnama is the elected representative of the Togolese diaspora in the UK on the High Council of Togolese Abroad (HCTE), where he works to mobilise investment, promote Togo’s image, and strengthen partnerships between Togo, the UK, and other countries. He is also the accredited representative of the University of Lomé in the UK, supporting partnerships between UK education institutions and the University of Lomé, and he works with decentralised municipalities in Togo on job creation and wealth-building initiatives.
Hilaire is the Director of TOGO BUSINESS UK LTD, where he helps connect trade, commercial, and investment organisations with opportunities in Togo, and he serves as Network Director of the British African Business Alliance in Tees Valley, encouraging business partnerships, enterprise, and sustainable jobs across Africa and the UK. He has also been active in refugee, diaspora, and community work in the UK for many years, including advocacy and relationship-building across civic and cultural networks.
