Rotary District 7170
Rotary District 7170, which serves seven counties in south central New York, has formally adopted the Climate Restoration Resolution, with District Governor Wen J. Des signing on June 27, 2024. The district’s mission is to provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through a fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders. This service driven mandate aligns closely with the Climate Restoration Alliance goal of reconnecting communities and institutions around restoring a livable, pre industrial climate by 2050. CRA brings the global restoration vision and Rotary District 7170 brings deep local networks that turn that vision into projects on the ground.
