Kat Haber is a climate coach and the longtime organizer of TEDxVail, a role she held for 16 years. In 2014, she walked across America as part of the Great March for Climate Action while also founding the WE Rotary Club of International Peace.

Kat is known for her patience, depth, and ability to connect dots others miss — from conversations with Chinese mayors implementing five-year climate plans to hosting Peace Parks for 17,000 Rotarians in Calgary.

Her work bridges climate action and peacebuilding. She advocates for a nuclear-free world while living a life that moves between Vail, Hawaii’s Big Island, Homer, Alaska, and Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.

Kat turns inner knowing into outer action, weaving together climate solutions, peace activism, and global connection.

“Real change happens when we stop running from the urgency and start sitting in the patience — that’s where the connections reveal themselves.”

Kat also invites others to engage with the Peace on Earth Game by 2030, which she facilitates for Rotary International.
