Positive Polar, a USA Delaware-based LLC founded in 2023, is a company combining Ocean Restoration / Blue Carbon technology development and expedition cruising. Founders have 20+ years in ship operations and translating technology into profitable businesses and have formed a leadership team with substantial cruise and technology experience.
Restore the Ocean
Positive Polar will provide a platform for scientists to explore how to best boost the “whale pump”, a natural process, to improve marine ecosystems and sequester carbon. We form partnerships to advance tech development in other areas as well, e.g., marine cloud brightening, EAMO.
Multipurpose Ships
Ship platforms enable ocean restoration tech development and cargo transport alongside premium passenger travel. Eco-technologies applied to mitigate impact.
Guest Engagement
Positive Polar creates advocates for Ocean Restoration through immersive experiences such as “Whaler for a Day” and “Oceanographer for a Day” programs.
