Methane is a potent greenhouse gas, responsible for 20% of global climate forcing. Its atmospheric concentration has more than doubled since pre-industrial times, accelerating global warming. Traditional emission reductions alone won’t lower methane levels fast enough to prevent further climate destabilization.
Our solution—Enhanced Atmospheric Methane Oxidation (EAMO) using Iron Salt Aerosols (ISA)—offers a breakthrough approach. By accelerating methane breakdown 16 times faster than natural processes, this method can halve global methane levels by 2030, reversing eight years of climate forcing and cooling the planet by an estimated 0.25°C.
